Step 1: Part the hair a bit off center or how the hair naturally falls

LEAD ARTIST: Rita Remark for essie THE INSPIRATION: Warm cozy knits in shades of navy, light blue, white, beige and ivory are featured prominently in Jonathan Simkhai’s Fall/Winter 2016 runway show. To carry this sentiment through to the nail GET THE LOOK - NAILS Rita chose coordinating shades find me an oasis, wrap me up, all eyes on nudes, marshmallow and midnight cami on nails. To enhance the cozy feeling she applied matte about you, and then used gel.setter top coat to create a textured cable knit sweater design as an accent on the middle and ring fingers.

Step 1: Apply ridge filling base coat to clean, filed nails

Step 2: Next, apply two coats of find me an oasis, wrap me up, all eyes on nudes, marshmallow or midnight cami to all nails (pick color of choice)

Step 3: Then, apply one coat of matte about you to all nails

Step 4: Create cable knit sweater design on the middle and ring fingers of both hands by first drawing, with a striping brush dipped in gel.setter top coat, diagonal “S” shapes down the middle section of the nail

Step 5: Then, using a striping brush dipped in gel.setter top coat, draw two evenly spaced vertical lines down the nail on booth side of the "S" shapes

Step 6: To finish the pattern, using a striping brush dipped in gel.setter top coat, apply diagonal downward strokes down both outer sections of the nail

SHOW: The Brock Collection

LEAD ARTIST: James Pesci for Viviscal THE LOOK: Whimsical Romance THE INSPIRATION: Inspired by the romantic and whimsical line from the first runway show by husband-wife duo, The Brock Collection, lead stylist James Pecis created a look pretty enough for a royal. Hair was blown to a full, voluminous dry, fluffy to the touch. Following the smooth blowout, curls were added to strands and finger brushed through. Once the base of the look was created, Pecis pulled inch thick strands from each ear and created a knot at the center of the head, following the hair downwards and weaving the strands into a braid, leaving about 3 inches from the bottom. Strands were secured with a tiny hair band. James then loosened the look by pulling small stands out to frame and flow around the face. The end result was ethereal, with a brocade barrette to match. LEAD ARTIST: Giannandrea,  Macadamia Professional International Creative Director THE LOOK: The Under-Chin Side Knot GET THE LOOK - HAIR 

Step 1: Starting with wet hair, apply one pump of Macadamia Professional Blow Dry Lotion ($24) from the mid-lengths to ends and blow-dry hair straight.

Step 2: Use a flat iron on small sections to seal the straight hair.

Step 3: Create a sharp center part on the crown only and brush hair down into two loose sections on each side of the head, in front of each shoulder.

Step 4: Run a quarter-sized amount of Macadamia Professional Nourishing Moisture Oil Treatment ($39.95) from mid-lengths to ends.

Step 5: Take the hair section on the left side and gently place it across the neck to meet just below the right ear in a ponytail. Secure the ponytail with a hair tie.

Step 6: Wrap an extension matching the hair color around the hair tie to achieve more length or volume if desired.

Step 7: Twist the hair into a wrapped bun and let the end of the hair stick out 7 inches. Secure the bun with bobby-pins.

Step 8: Spray Macadamia Professional Flex Hold Shaping Spray ($25) over all of the hair and smooth any flyaways.

Step 9: Insert a distinctive hair piece of your choice and finish with a light mist of Macadamia Professional Weightless Moisture Dry Oil Micro Mist ($31.95)

SHOW: Zang Toi

LEAD ARTIST: Eiji Yamane for Macadamia Professional INSPIRATION:  Zang Toi transported the audience to the Courchevel in the French Alps with his Fall/Winter 2016 collection. Using Macadamia Professional products, Eiji Yamane created the “Courchevel Chignon” hairstyle that featured a classic Hollywood glamour in the front with loose chignons in the back. GET THE LOOK - HAIR  The Look: The Courchevel Chignon

Step 1: Evenly distribute Macadamia Professional Blow Dry Lotion, section hair and blow dry.

Step 2: Part hair over the right eye and curl front left section of hair with a large curling iron to create loose waves. Spray with Macadamia Professional Style Lock Strong Hold Hairspray and pin back taking care not to cause a crimp or mark with your pin. Run curling iron through the right side creating slight bend and clip back.

Step 3: Take remaining hair and pull back into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. Using a curling iron, curl the entire section at once to give slight softness and movement.

Step 4: Separate ponytail into three sections. Take the left section and curling up; create a large loop, hiding the ends inside the newly defined bun. Secure with bobby pins and spray with Macadamia Professional Style Lock Strong Hold Hairspray to lock in place.

Step 5: Repeat step 4 with the middle and right sections of the ponytail to create a triple chignon.

Step 6: Remove clips from the front right section and loosely pull hair back along the side of the head, creating a light wave above the ear.  Tuck the ends behind the chignon and secure in place with pins. Spray with Macadamia Professional Style Lock Strong Hold Hairspray.

Step 7: While holding hair in place with your hand, remove clips from the front left section and create dramatic waves cascading along the side of the head. Spray with Macadamia Professional Style Lock Strong Hold Hairspray hold waves in place and then tuck the ends behind the chignon and secure in place with pins.

Step 8: To complete the look, liberally spray Macadamia Professional Weightless Moisture Dry Oil Micro Mist for added shine and luster.

LEAD ARTIST: Gato for Maybelline INSPIRATION:  Gato brings to his life his interpretation of the "winter woman." By pairing two strong components - a graphic cool silver eye and a rich burgundy lip - his aim was to create an expressionistic take on a bold elegance, projecting the idea of a woman he says is "strong and confident, but at the same time very feminine." GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP Step 1: Skin is given a soft demi-matte finish with Dream Velvet Foundation, while a bit of Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer below the eyes brightens for a wide-awake effect. Lids are prepped with Master Prime Long-Lasting Shadow Base in Prime + Matte to create a shine-free base for an impactful eye look. Step 2: Cheeks get contoured and flushed using bronze and blush shades in the Face Studio Master Contour Palette. Step 4: The base of the dramatic graphic eye is a tick line of Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Blackest Black on the upper lids. Next, Color Tattoo Liquid Chrome in Silver Spark (launches June 2016) is drawn on top of the liner in the center as well as halfway across the bottom lashline. The final touch: The Colossal Spider Lash Mascara (launches May 2016) is smudged into teh root of the eyelashes.

INSPIRATION: The Aveda team drew inspiration from the vibrant red carpet worthy gowns for this seasons beauty look. Models walked the runway with fresh dewy skin, a ombre smokey eye diffusing burgundy into a rich autumn yellow, paired with a matte nude lip. THE MAKEUP The flawless makeup was complimented by a low middle part ponytail featuring an amazing intricate “cobra” braid – created using a macramé technique that required two stylist. LEAD ARTIST: Odile Gilbert for Kérastase Paris INSPIRATION:  This look was all about creating a graphic, yet chic style. By crisscrossing the beautiful, velvet satin ribbon, it helped bring an element of texture to the ponytail. GET THE LOOK - HAIR

Step 1: Prep and wash hair with Nutritive Bain Satin 1 and Nutritive Lait Vital.

Step 2: On damp hair, apply the NEW! L’Incroyable Blowdry Heat Lotion (Launching in May) all over the hair and Crème de la Crème to just the ends.

Step 3: Next, part the hair down the middle and roughly blow-dry. After dry, apply Powder Bluff at the roots (for greasy roots) or V.I.P (for extra volume).

Step 4: Then, pull hair back into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic. Gently loosen hair around the nape of the neck to give a lived in, natural look.

Step 5: Spray hair all over with Laque Dentelle.

Step 6: Next, take ribbon and wrap the ponytail, crisscrossing the ribbon down the hair. Tie the ribbon once 3/4 of the way down the ponytail.

Step 7: Finish the style by spraying Laque Dentelle all over for a flexible, versatile hold.

LEAD ARTIST: Paul Hanlon INSPIRATION: “The collection is designed very elegantly with a focus on efficient tailoring. To offset the elegance the hair has a level of youthfulness. There is a naivety that is added with the undone ends to make it feel young and clean. The side wave is added in to make it feel a bit highbrow/low brow with a nod to old Hollywood glamour of the 40’s. There is a level of masculinity set against the casting of new faces with the younger girls. It feels raw, contemporary, easy, and organic.” - Paul Hanlon GET THE LOOK - HAIR

Step 1:  Prep the hair using Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse and comb through with your fingers.

Step 2: Using the Moroccanoil Ceramic Hairstyling Iron start to add texture into hair by creating waves. Use Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray section by section, if needed, to help create the texture. For curly hair, use only the Moroccanoil Ceramic Hairstyling Iron to soften the texture.

Step 3: Using your fingers, comb hair into a messy side part. Next, use Moroccanoil Ceramic Hairstyling Iron to the front section of hair to create a finger wave effect.

Step 4: Comb the hair using a wide tooth comb and set the hair with flat clips. Use Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray as needed. Create a wave on the other side as well and set it with flat clips. It is important that the waves are not clean and perfect but should read as “broken”.

Step 5: Go over hair with a blow dryer to keep the shape compact and to control the volume on the ends.

Step 6: Define the ends using Moroccanoil Treatment Light to add separation. Use Moroccanoil Treatment Original on dry hair to achieve the same texture.

Step 7: Finish the look using Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine.

MISS POP referenced the Faces group with hand drawn red lips complemented by a black French tip, and swiped bold red and pink polishes on imPRESS Manicure Oval in Lighten Up to represent the Tester group. Beyond bold prints and colors, “grids and mesh are on trend and the ‘grid with white tip’ look suggests negative space but with a softer contrast of colors - a modern twist on the classic pink and white,” says MISS POP. INSPIRATION: Inspired by secretaries and working women throughout time. Step 1: Find the correct size imPRESS Manicure Oval in Lighten Up for white base or imPRESS Gel Manicure in So, So Stellar for mauve base then place onto double stick tape to allow for easy designing

Step 2: Use the thin brush from the KISS Salon Secret Nail Art Tool Kit and dip into the KISS Strong Gel Polish in Bloody Lips (red)

Step 3: Paint a small pair of plump red lips at the bottom left side of the nail

Step 4: Using KISS Nail Artist Paint in black, create a bowed line in the center of the lips

Step 5: Allow a few minutes to set then seal with topcoat
