Why You’ll Love It (or not)

Since making the decision two months ago to start using relaxers again, I asked my sister, Tara, who rocks nothing but natural curls to give me her honest opinion of these new launches. But first, where were these products BEFORE I decided to go back to the creamy crack?! After I would my hair pre-relaxer, I’d wonder “where did they go?” they had shrunk so much.

Day One: As directed, Tara used the Anti-Shrinkage Clumping Curl Clay Cleanser first, and then followed with the  Anti-Shrinkage Clumping Curl Creme Gel – both products only used on the left side of her head. Notice in this picture on the left how her curls are stretched and more defined, while on the right, her hair is frizzy with some curl-definition only on the tips.

Day Two: My sister said her hair feels even softer and her curls are still as defined as on day one. She even said that “my hair is so easy to comb through now.”

My thoughts? I did feel on day one some film on my sister’s hair, but on day two, that film was long gone and in it’s place was frizz-free really soft hair. Dark and Lovely, it looks like these two products are getting a thumbs up for the doable pricepoints, the attractive smell, and the formulas!
