Celeb Look For Less: Steal Tatyana Ali’s Easy Style
I always thought Tatyana Ali was a cute girl from her early days on the show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. But it wasn’t until I saw this recent picture of her that I saw her as a beautiful woman. Long gone are the pigtails, and before us stands a chic style star. This is an example of what a few years of coming into yourself, having a healthy respect for the right beauty products, and knowing exactly what to do with them can do. Now you can get this celeb look for less.
For those of you with wavy hair like Tatyana’s, spritz Jane Carter’s Solution Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner ($9, janecarterssolution.com) twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening) to keep your hair hydrated. This conditioner is also good for roller-setting fine hair and acts a barrier for flat-ironing. I currently use this on my lazy weekend days before my styling sessions. No fuss. No muss.
To adorn Tatyana’s big smile, blush was used to accentuate her cheek bones. A deep complexion like Tatyana’s just begs for a peach-colored blush like Papa Don’t Peach, Too Faced Cosmetics ($19.50, toofaced.com) which makes her face appear so vibrant! But the fun doesn’t stop there. While the bordeaux-colored lipstick seen on Miss Ali is pretty, it makes me yawn. Cosmoholic Cosmetics cured my boredom by creating a highly-pigmented liquid lipstick that gives your pout high-wattage color with a touch of gloss. There are seven colors to choose from and my favorite thus far is Berry Boss ($20, cosmoholiconline.com) which looks similar to Tatyana’s lip color. I hope you like it as much as I do!
